Airtel offers 3 GB data per day, unlimited calls to counter Reliance Jio; here is how this plan will benefit you

Airtel offers: To counter Reliance Jio, Airtel has come up with a new Rs 799 special recharge for select users. Under this new plan, Airtel offers free, unlimited local and STD calls. This Airtel plan is available for prepaid users only. Apart from unlimited calling, the users will also get 3 GB of either 3G or 4G data per day.

So, users need to recharge the plan every 28 days in order to retain all the benefits. It’s a perfect plan for those who consume more data on a daily basis.

This plan will directly take on Reliance Jio iPhone offer. In this deal, Jio offers 90GB of data, free SMS, unlimited voice calls and Jio subscription to Jio services for Rs 799. The validity of this plan is also 28 days. Apart from this, Jio has another similar plan for Rs 509 for its prepaid customers, offering unlimited data, voice calls, and SMS. It has a daily limit (FUP) of 2GB of data up to 112GB. Once the limit exceeds, speed will be further reduced to 128kbps.

Recently, Airtel had announced a Rs 199 plan under which it is offering unlimited calls and 1 GB or gigabyte of data. This new plan which is now available on the official website of Airtel – airtel.in has a validity of 28 days. Previously, Airtel has announced plans priced at Rs 149, Rs 349 and Rs 399. Under the Rs 149 plan, Airtel offers unlimited Airtel calls + 2GB data with a validity of 28 days, according to its website. “Applicable only on 4G H/S (handset) & 4G SIM. T&C apply,” the website adds.

Jio, on the other hand, had also made a few changes to its Rs 149 plan under which it is now offering 2GB 4G internet data, unlimited voice calling, 300 SMS, and mobile app access. However, after the 2GB data gets exhausted, Jio will still offer internet services, but at 64kbps speeds.
